- I have been a professional dog trainer for 20 years specializing in working retrievers.. I have been a waterfowl hunting guide for around 30 years...I started training retrievers at a very high volume retriever kennel and have seen a wide variety of dog personalities to learn from..I no longer compete but did so for many years..The thrill of it all just seemed to go away…Waterfowl hunting started as a passion at the age of 16..I found the two loves of hunting and retrievers which matched me very well…This is all I do, train retrievers and guide waterfowl hunters..I feel very fortunate to be able to work at the two things I love…
