I take your pup to the real hunting areas not kennel ponds. I don't hunt at a kennel so your dog will see most all types of cover. There are many north Texas retriever trainers. I do not compete which gives one on one training for your pup. There is no just "big money" dogs that compete. I have the time as I only 5 training dogs.

Training Riggins on his first duck , decoys and water cover retrieves..This area is the same place we will be teal hunting in another 3 months.. He will be taken to several other areas by mud boat to have him very ready to hunt this fall..

Whistle sit...The owner has a hard time handling this pup so I MUST make sure she is put under pressure on this drill..It might be counter productive with some dogs to do this but she bounces back easily and totally understands what is asked of her..Both clips show the end result of one session..
